Description
Lea Wilson needed a nice, relaxing break. What she didn't need was to run into an annoying, rugged photojournalist - one who lived in her hotel and frequented her fantasies.
There’s no way she’ll ever be with Adam Brenner. He’s unpredictable and risks his life every day – what she needs is a dependable man who wants to settle down. Too bad the chemistry between them is so hot…

She'd almost reached the photographer by now. He didn't look worried that she'd seen him and come up to him - he hadn't attempted to run away, he didn't have that nervous look most of them got when she approached them, and strangely enough, he hadn't tried to take any more photos of her.
His eyes crinkled at the corners and he smiled at her in an irritatingly friendly way.
Lea wasn't about to waste time on pleasantries. "Give me your camera," she demanded coldly.
He raised on eyebrow quizzically, the smile never leaving his face. Now that she was closer, Lea realized it was a rather nice smile - softly curving lips, and happily sparkling chocolate-brown eyes. The man had a strangely unkempt look about himself - his hair fell to his eyes in soft waves, and looked like it hadn't been cut in a while. Dark stubble covered his square jaw, and shadows under his eyes gave her the impression that he hadn't slept in a while. And there was something haunting behind his smile, too, something dark and curious…
Stop it. She must've gone without men for a long time if she found this annoying camera-slinger attractive. She tried to ignore the fact that he was tall and lean, and his baby-blue t-shirt and cargo shorts hinted at well-defined muscles, and focused on his eyes. Why was he still smiling?
"Excuse me?" His voice was dark and smooth like his hair.
"You heard me. Your camera, now."
She held out her hand and her scowl deepened.

Picture Perfect The Wilsons Book 2 edition by Alicia Roberts Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
It's a great short story to read if your in the mood for romance. Alicia Roberts knows how to put two unlikely people together in . Just the way with some romance and intimacy without being one or the other. This was my first novel by her, but defiantly not the last.
Picture Perfect is a very cute romance! I really enjoyed reading it, it has a very feel-good vibe to it. Adam and Lea are both interesting people. Adam is strong and brave and honest, without being "goody goody", he's a fun and interesting man. Lea has an interesting story too. They make a very unlikely couple but true love knows no bounds, right?!
Short but interesting story. Loved Adam (A guy who bakes!), and Mel, but Lea not so much. I get it that the paparazzi is an extreme nuisance, and I sympathize with Lea regarding her lack of privacy.
Many editing errors. Among the more amusing
"FOOL blown panic mode"/full
"small hedge FUN"/fund
This was a short, cute romance. He is a war photojournalist that has been hurt and sent to St. Martin to recover. She is there to attend a friend's wedding. Sparks fly and they are attracted but know they have nothing in common and it cannot go anywhere, however, he is quite the guy. I loved how he just walked away when she started acting stupid. But he did keep coming back. I would have liked to have seen her grovel just a bit. He seemed the much better catch to me.
It was an entertaining read and I would recommend it.
My rating on this is actually 4.5 Stars as the detractions are for a few technical errors that were pointed out by others, however none were egregious enough to slam the book as some reviewers did. I felt the author had a great story with two characters that are very easy to identify with for a lot of people these days. Both are driven professionals that by circumstances are forced to take vacations to heal primarily their minds, though one definitely has had some serious body damage. You really can loose yourself in her descriptions and find oneself enjoying a first class resort, being pampered, literally getting away from it all. If you haven't the time or money to go to the Caribbean for a vacation, reading this will be a good substitute. P.S. Commuters don't read on the bus or you'll miss your stop !
Lea, a former high-society party girl turned investor, and Adam, a laid-back war-zone photojournalist meet when they stay at the same hotel in St. Martin - she is there for a wedding and a work-related conference and he is there on an enforced vacation while his wounded leg heals.
This book had its moments but it was really too short (just over 100 pages) to have any in-depth character development or to show us why they fell so hard for each other that they were willing to make huge life changes in order to stay together.
Recommended if you are looking for something without too much depth to entertain you for a couple of hours.
Adult language and explicit sexual content.
I loved the way the story first started out, but about mid way through it started to get a little boring. That's when Lea started acting like a rich spoiled brat. It was like everything was all about her. She said she didn't want to be the center of attention anymore, but then she'd go and do exactly like she vowed she'd never do again, like partying with her friends until they were too drunk to get back to the hotel on their own.
And it seemed as though Adam could say a thing, without her jumping away and getting made at him for no reason at all. No wonder he thought she was crazy. And then when they finally got together, she runs off on him without even leaving him a note, before the sun even rose the next morning.
Adam I liked a lot, Lea...not so much.
Would I recommend this book? Probably not.
